VERONICA KLAVZAR
Amplifying Horizons: Innovating (Electric) Harp Performance through Technological Integration and Interdisciplinarity
In this lecture-recital on the Delta electric harp, Veronica Klavzar explores the versatility of the electric harp and its sonic possibilities. Through a combination of music, spoken commentary, and direct interaction with the audience, she introduces various playing techniques, sounds, and stylistic contexts. The goal is to challenge common stereotypes about the harp and to present the instrument—beyond traditional perceptions—as a contemporary, versatile, and experimental medium for sound.
VANJA CONTU
Electroacoustic Harp: Expanded Possibilities.
An immersive concert for electroacoustic harp, where the sound of an instrument with ancient origins is shaped, crystallized, and transformed into armor through electronics, while preparations, extended techniques, and field recordings expand its sonic palette, creating a living dialogue between nature and technology. From reinterpretations of seventeenth-century vocal lines to new compositions by Italian composers dedicated to the artist, through improvisations, original works and reimaginings of modern pieces, the harp unfolds in resonances and timbral metamorphoses, tracing an experiential journey across eras and diverse soundscapes.
