COSTS
- how much is active participation?
500€ - passive participation: are all events and classes free to listen?
Yes they are! - how long are the lessons?
daily one-on-one tuition is 50 mins each, plus three Special Classes dealing with specific subjects (90 mins each) - how long are VHD?
2024: The opening concert is on 13th of July, 6:30 p.m., lessons start on Sunday 14th of July, 9 a.m.
The final concert of the participants is on 18th of July, 5 p.m.
PRACTICAL INFORMATION
- where are Vienna Harp Days taking place?
Musikgymnasium Wien, Neustiftgasse 95-99, 1070 Wien - are there practising harps?
Yes, there are. We calculate with three hours minimum daily for practising per participants, more if available. - can I bring my own harp?
Yes, we can provide you with a practising room - do VHD provide accomodation?
No, you have to organise it yourself. But there are many options in different price ranges nearby. - in which languages will I have my classes?
usually English or German. but depending on the teacher, there might be other languages available
LEGAL
- what if I have to cancel?
No refund for any cancellation after 20.6.. But the cancelling participant can organise an alternative participant taking over the spot and costs. - what if the organisers cancel?
Full refund if the course is cancelled by the organisers. - underage participants?
the organisers assume no responsibility for minors attending the course without a guardian.

ja - wie lange ist mein Unterricht?
50 Minuten täglicher Einzelunterricht, zusätzlich drei Special Classes zu spezifischen Themen (je 90 Minuten) - wie lange dauern die VHD?
2024: Das Eröffnungskonzert ist am 13.7. 18h30, der Unterricht beginnt am 14.7. um 9h
Das Abschlusskonzert der Teilnehmer*innen ist am 18.7., 17h.

- wo finden die VHD statt?

Ja. Es sind mindestens drei Stunden täglich pro Teilnehmer*in geplant. Mehr nach Verfügbarkeit - kann ich meine Harfe mitbringen?
Ja, wir stellen Überäume zur Verfügung - kümmert sich VHD um meine Unterbringung?
Nein, aber es gibt viele Unterbringungsoptionen in verschiedenen Preisklassen in der näheren Umgebung - was sind die Unterrichtssprachen?
normalerweise englisch oder deutsch. Aber je nach Lehrperson sind eventuell auch andere Sprachen möglich
RECHTLICHES
- was passiert wenn ich absage?
nach dem 20.6. ist keine Stornierung mehr möglich. Der*die Absagende kann aber eigenständig für Ersatz sorgen, der*die den Kursplatz & Kosten stattdessen übernimmt. - was wenn der Kurs abgesagt wird?
Bei Stornierung durch die Veranstalter wird der volle Betrag erstattet. - minderjährige Teilnehmer*innen?
Die Kursleitung übernimmt keine Haftung für Minderjährige ohne erwachsene Begleitperson.
